Carers Connections is a free, relaxed group for carers of autistic and neurodivergent people to come together, connect, and feel supported.
Caring can be deeply meaningful, but it can also be isolating. This group offers a gentle space to pause, breathe, and spend time with others who understand the caring journey.
This space isn’t about fixing anything. It’s about being held by community, sharing the load, and remembering you don’t have to do this alone.
Sessions are informal and welcoming, with gentle, optional activities such as craft, games, or quiet creative time. You’re equally welcome to simply sit, chat, listen, or enjoy being in the room - there’s no pressure to participate.
Tea, coffee, and morning tea are provided.
Carers Connections is free to attend, no diagnosis is required, and carers are welcome to come just as they are. Whether you’re new to caring or have been doing this for years, you are welcome here.
The group meets fortnightly on Saturday mornings at the The Corner Youth Centre, 91 Wilson's Rd, Mornington.
The dates for Term 1 are:
Saturday January 31st
Saturday February 14th
Saturday February 28th
Saturday March 14th
Saturday March 28th
Our Carer Connections group is facilitated by Emma.
